At The Mandy Foundation, we understand the power of connection and shared experience in healing. Our Peer & Survivor Support Groups provide a safe, supportive space for individuals affected by suicide, mental health challenges, and trauma to come together, share their stories, and find hope.
There is no charge for attending any groups.
What Are Peer & Survivor Support Groups?
Peer & Survivor Support Groups are facilitated gatherings where people with lived experience connect to support one another. These groups foster understanding, reduce isolation, and promote resilience through mutual encouragement and shared coping strategies.
Group Formats
We offer various group formats to meet diverse needs, including:
In-Person Groups: Local gatherings led by trained facilitators that provide direct human connection.
Virtual Groups: Accessible online sessions for participants regardless of location, ensuring privacy and convenience.
Specialized Groups: Tailored groups such as first responder support, caregiver support, veteran support, and youth/young adult groups.
